The Goddess is not pleased..
The Goddess is not pleased..
Not one bit..
When I spoke to BellSouth and found out it would be best to get dsl through them instead of waiting around til Gods knew when for Earthlink to get dsl in my area, the only thing that convinced me to do so was the fact that they would waive my installation fee. They had to install a dsl line because I didn't have the right phone lines. Something told me it may not have been the best idea.. They waived my fee because I let them know I wasn't able to afford it... They waived it because I had been a BellSouth customer in good standing for yadda yadda yadda long period of time and they wanted to keep my business (of course). I accepted only because of said waived fee.. I even called back to make sure they waived the fee..
So, someone.. please tell me why they charged me the 99 dollar installation fee?
When I call them tomorrow morning..

Date: 2004-09-12 01:36 pm (UTC)hopefully you'll luck out and the reps you spoke to on the phone actually did their job and noted somewhere that your fee was to be waived... and hopefully the next rep you get on the phone will have a clue and know how to fix your bill. *hugs*

Date: 2004-09-12 08:18 pm (UTC)So I'm thinking that someone there either can't read.. or thought they could slip something in under the radar..
Either way.. I'm not paying for something I was assured I wouldn't be charged for, or there's going to be an issue.. *grins evilly*
A small DSL primer...
Date: 2004-09-12 01:44 pm (UTC)Now that you are experienceing the wonders of BellSouth, you should hopefully not be surprised why Earthlink had a problem setting up your line.
