*grrrrrr*

The Goddess is not pleased..

The Goddess is not pleased..

Not one bit..

When I spoke to BellSouth and found out it would be best to get dsl through them instead of waiting around til Gods knew when for Earthlink to get dsl in my area, the only thing that convinced me to do so was the fact that they would waive my installation fee. They had to install a dsl line because I didn't have the right phone lines. Something told me it may not have been the best idea.. They waived my fee because I let them know I wasn't able to afford it... They waived it because I had been a BellSouth customer in good standing for yadda yadda yadda long period of time and they wanted to keep my business (of course). I accepted only because of said waived fee.. I even called back to make sure they waived the fee..

So, someone.. please tell me why they charged me the 99 dollar installation fee?

When I call them tomorrow morning..

You know..

When making homemade (of course) banana nut bread.. and one is out of rum.. the most sensible substitute can only be..

...The last bit of the kahlua in the pantry!

Ahhh.. It seems the Con Crud has loosened its grip on me.. I'm still a bit blah and tired, but I have more energy now than I'd had the past week.  [livejournal.com profile] vernard was so sweet to help me out with the yardwork that had built up on me while I was at Con and then sick *yuck yuck*.  I guess boyfriends do happen to have their uses *grinkiss*.  I was able to do my magic cleaning the kitchen and bathrooms and the last of my laundry.. I should be feeling better enough to continue work on the cabinets and then the living room tomorrow.  Even at my sickest.. I'm a clean freak.  I don't mind when things get untidy.. Believe me, if you see my bedroom.. You would know (yeah and the living room ~ I still haven't finished 'moving in'). But I can't take a dirty kitchen/bathroom/etc. *shudder*..  Next week I'll probably work on the upstairs part of the house. It mainly needs dusting and vacuuming until Mommy moves her things in.

I had some left over chicken and usually I make homemade chicken soup.. But seeing how the time was going and neither Vernard and I had really anything to eat (okay he had two hotdogs and I hadn't had anything at the time), I decided to cut the time down and use a can of condensed chicken and rice soup and just add some 'homemade' to it. *yum* Damn, I'm good.. *grin*.  I must be starting to get better, because I'm raring to be in a kitchen cooking up a storm. Anyone have a kitchen they'd want me in?

But now, I have banana bread baking in the oven, and I'm here visiting with everyone in LJ~land *wiggle*..

So, how's everyone's night been? *huggle*  Anyone in the mood for some banana nut bread?  It smells so good and it's almost time to take it out the oven!
