Oh. My. God. This is so sickening.. This makes me want to find those defense attornies and rip their fucking heads off. And do other unspeakable horrors to those young menpieces of slime who did this evil.

Maybe I'll videotape it also..

I knew I shouldn't have clicked on that link; I knew I risked reliving my own experiences.. But.. but.. I don't think I've ever been more disgusted and horrified.. That poor girl.. What.. Do these cowards think that we fucking ask to be raped and molested?

Somebody.. please put me in a room with those three maggots.. I have years of pent~up anger and rage just begging for a release..

It's taking everything in me to keep from shaking. I'm all for being an advocate for painful castration.. I'd be more than willing to perform it myself.

People are just so.. disgusting.

Are there actually lawyers who choose to defend rapists?? Or is it because they find themselves called to it by the defending rapist or just apointed to them? I know me.. If I were ever called in to defend a rapist and especially in a situation like this one where you just know they are guilty.. I would refuse to defend them..

He never chose to. He was against it and raised hell about it, but they wouldn't let him change his appointment.

Sad to say it has to be done, Doll. A defense lawyer has to be ready, willing, and able to tear a prosecution to absolute shreds. Even if it is distasteful, and even if the person is guilty as sin. The reason being you can't be lazy. It's come out that there have been so many innocent people sent to jail. It is absolutely essential that prosecutors come loaded for bear. In fact, it's kinda comforting to think when you know someone is convicted it's because there was no reasonable doubt. That defense lawyer couldn't refute the evidense. And think about what happens *most* of the time, where the suspected offender isn't as clearly guilty. What if he's innocent. False accusations, and misidentifications happen. If that were your son, or brother, you would want to know that your loved man wouldn't be refused help because he *might* be guilty.

Don't worry, I understand completely what you are saying. *grin* I even had a convo about it with Vernard. He made the observation that I was letting my emotions get the best of me and that this was something that was just way too personal for me. I readily agreed. It's why I told him I couldn't be a [trial] lawyer. There's always the situation that the person isn't guilty yes.. I've known girls who have actually dared to lie about such and accuse a man of raping them to serve their own twisted reasons. But knowing that (in my eyes) with the evidence of the videotape, I could not in any sort of conscience defend those boys if I were appointed to them.
