Oh. My. God. This is so sickening.. This makes me want to find those defense attornies and rip their fucking heads off. And do other unspeakable horrors to those young menpieces of slime who did this evil.

Maybe I'll videotape it also..

I knew I shouldn't have clicked on that link; I knew I risked reliving my own experiences.. But.. but.. I don't think I've ever been more disgusted and horrified.. That poor girl.. What.. Do these cowards think that we fucking ask to be raped and molested?

Somebody.. please put me in a room with those three maggots.. I have years of pent~up anger and rage just begging for a release..

It's taking everything in me to keep from shaking. I'm all for being an advocate for painful castration.. I'd be more than willing to perform it myself.

People are just so.. disgusting.

Whoa!!! I only read the first couple of paragraphs (I'm at work) and I am disgusted with it. I'll help rip the nuts off these fuckers AND their Defense team.

Peace...

If there's anything left of them if I ever become so lucky as to get my hands on them... You'd have my blessing to do to them as you'd please..

I hope they go and never ever make it back out... Alive, that is..

[identity profile] blackperson.livejournal.com 2004-11-23 02:31 pm (UTC)(link)
I read this at work and had to stop because it was so disheartening.

[identity profile] zorathenne.livejournal.com 2004-11-23 04:06 pm (UTC)(link)
I can only pray that if I'm ever blessed with sons that I can teach them there's more to being a true man than having a penis..

[identity profile] weaktwos.livejournal.com 2004-11-23 02:40 pm (UTC)(link)
Ugh, that was hideous. I'm nauseous and I've not had any traumatic past experiences to relive. Those teenage boys are disgusting creatures that need to be weeded out of the gene pool.

[identity profile] zorathenne.livejournal.com 2004-11-23 04:04 pm (UTC)(link)
And I'd be quite willing to go and 'garden' their asses..

[identity profile] weaktwos.livejournal.com 2004-11-23 04:12 pm (UTC)(link)
Would that be with the patented RonCo Garden Weasel?

[identity profile] zorathenne.livejournal.com 2004-11-23 04:16 pm (UTC)(link)
As long as it's jagged.. very very sharp.. maybe even a little bit rusty.. and will cause much more than a signifigant amount of pain (among other traumas), sure.. I'd gladly garden with it *grin*.

[identity profile] weaktwos.livejournal.com 2004-11-23 04:33 pm (UTC)(link)
Remember those Garden weasels?

By the time you're done with 'em, rust is definitely the least of their problems. I think replacing their shredded entrails will be their first challenge.

[identity profile] zorathenne.livejournal.com 2004-11-24 12:10 am (UTC)(link)
Oooooh.. That would do the job quite nicely, if I have to say so myself..

[identity profile] kalavankar.livejournal.com 2004-11-23 03:25 pm (UTC)(link)
You have NO idea how much this kind of shit infuriates me and my friends. Rapists, in my eyes and their eyes, are NOT fucking human. It makes me wonder about those attorneys. Do they have any fucking heart?

My dad told me how he dealt with defending a rapist. He believes they're the scum of the earth, but the evidence he gathered made the guy seem innocent, up until he tried to do the same exact thing during the trial.

Honestly, if we could, my friends and I would be roving vigilantes, kicking the asses of sexual offenders and grinding their faces into the pavement. Just.. ugh.

[identity profile] zorathenne.livejournal.com 2004-11-23 04:11 pm (UTC)(link)
Are there actually lawyers who choose to defend rapists?? Or is it because they find themselves called to it by the defending rapist or just apointed to them? I know me.. If I were ever called in to defend a rapist and especially in a situation like this one where you just know they are guilty.. I would refuse to defend them..

[identity profile] kalavankar.livejournal.com 2004-11-23 04:28 pm (UTC)(link)
He never chose to. He was against it and raised hell about it, but they wouldn't let him change his appointment.

[identity profile] teague.livejournal.com 2004-11-23 09:36 pm (UTC)(link)
Sad to say it has to be done, Doll. A defense lawyer has to be ready, willing, and able to tear a prosecution to absolute shreds. Even if it is distasteful, and even if the person is guilty as sin. The reason being you can't be lazy. It's come out that there have been so many innocent people sent to jail. It is absolutely essential that prosecutors come loaded for bear. In fact, it's kinda comforting to think when you know someone is convicted it's because there was no reasonable doubt. That defense lawyer couldn't refute the evidense. And think about what happens *most* of the time, where the suspected offender isn't as clearly guilty. What if he's innocent. False accusations, and misidentifications happen. If that were your son, or brother, you would want to know that your loved man wouldn't be refused help because he *might* be guilty.

[identity profile] zorathenne.livejournal.com 2004-11-24 12:06 am (UTC)(link)
Don't worry, I understand completely what you are saying. *grin* I even had a convo about it with Vernard. He made the observation that I was letting my emotions get the best of me and that this was something that was just way too personal for me. I readily agreed. It's why I told him I couldn't be a [trial] lawyer. There's always the situation that the person isn't guilty yes.. I've known girls who have actually dared to lie about such and accuse a man of raping them to serve their own twisted reasons. But knowing that (in my eyes) with the evidence of the videotape, I could not in any sort of conscience defend those boys if I were appointed to them.

every rapist should be castrated with a blunt, rusty knife.
i'm absolutely revolted through and through.

you and me both sweetness..

That 'cruel and unusual punishment' clause probably made sense at the time, considering that the pilgrims (and by legacy, our founding fathers) came from a place where anyone could, at any time and for any reason, be tortured publicly, or end up vivisected for public entertainment, but I can't help wondering whether a few good public punishments would deter a lot of crime.

I mean really, if you knew you were going to suffer actual consequences for wrong actions, you might be more reticent to act out.

I can't fault the lawyer. If he doesn't try everything possible, he loses his job and can't feed his family.

The perversion of it all is what gets me.

If someone gets drunk beyond all reason and ends up behind the wheel they are still responsible for their actions.

Yet somehow you can kill another human in purposeful cold blood and avoid punishment on an insanity plea by claiming you weren't in possession of your faculties.

[identity profile] vernard.livejournal.com 2004-11-30 04:57 am (UTC)(link)
There are consequences. That is why we have jail and even the death penalty in some situations. The real problem is enforcement of the law and scaling things. If murder gets you 21 years in prison then why do they allow time off for good behavior? Mitigating the circumstances makes some of these offenses really minor. Make murder a 30 year penalty with no time off and I think we might have less of them.

The other thing is that an insanity plea isn't allowed unless a psychologist (usually several different ones) all agree that at the time you weren't in possession. That plea is refused more often than it is accepted.
