...I'm back.. No.. Not in Georgia.. I won't be untill near the end of December.. What I mean is I finally got my mother's computer up and running again and I'm back to pottering around in here.
I would go on and on about how my train ride was up to NY.. but all I will say about that is:
18+ hours..
4-5 crying babies/toddlers..
2 of said babies (twins) sitting one seat behind across the aisle..
From Atlanta to Washington DC.
Crying/fussing..
The
Whole
Train
Ride.
When that family got off the train at Washington DC.. I had made up my mind that I was NOT going to bring babies on a train ride with me if at all possible.. The two women who sat across the aisle from me and the grandmother I sat next to (who got off at DC as well) just grinned at me and said they were sure I would be able to handle little ones if I could deal with all that on the train ride. One of the women was trying NOT to be ugly about the 2 children (they were about 18 months as their mother said ~ they are *supposed* to cry.. cry, yes.. babies cry.. but that was a bit too... much.. milk and *a little* rum in the bottle anyone..? anyone? *halo*).. But we determined that by the way the little boy was screaming ~ he wasn't *crying* so much as he was *hollering and screaming* ~ that he had something painfull going on.
....*whew*
What a train ride..
But I'm home now.. and I have to head out to go places with Mommy and Aunt Grace..
