Oh man.. This is too much.
I'm still at oraqle's place, and we're watching the breaking news video about the robbery suspects being chased through South L.A

Oraqle is playing EQ and we're noticing the attack music is just going too well with the live video of the car flying and navigating (almost hit a few other cars a few times) through traffic.. with a train of cop cars racing along behind it.
So now he's just turned up the music and is targetting everything in sight just to keep the attack music going hehe..

I know, I know.. I'm a twisted woman..

Whooo... I hope they get those guys soon; the chase is now through a heavily residential area and I shudder at the thought that an unsuspecting child risks getting injured.

Well I'll be.. We're hearing that people in L.A. live for car chases like this. They have it so that when a car chase of this magnitude happens people get notifications on pagers and what not so they can rush to the nearest tv and turn on the news.. And so the news ratings go through the roof...

Car chase itself is over now.. they stopped in front of a house and one ran into the house while the 2 others pretty much surrendered. so there's a guy and an woman in custody and all havok has broken loose in the meantime..

This is too much..

hey you! i remember i was watching my satellite dish and they had a car chase going on in East LA. it was crazy! and then the newscaster started talking about all the other car chases they have, it sounded like they had one like every week. i wanna visit there so bad, it seems so wild and crazy :)

It is not so wild and crazy anymore. The car chases have died down, well at least the coverage has.

The best part about living in Southern CA is you are only 1 or so from the beach, the mountains or the desert.

Ooh! You sent me email? i'll prolly check it when i get home from oracle's place tonight.. *whimper* just woke up from a nap and i've slept too long so my head is hurting. this guy has the most comfortable couch ever..

God, that car chase was the first thing I watched this morning. It was hilarious when they finally pulled over and the guy darted into the house, and that lady pretty much dragged him out beause she was pissed the hell off.

I don't usually find car chases interesting, but that one caught my eye because I noticed the people throwing shit out the window before the news people started mentioning it. That, and the lady at the end made it all worthwhile. I somehow see her getting a sitcom or something.. the way she just marched up those stairs, pounded on the door, and then swung her arm in an 'Aww, shucks!' gesture amused the crap out of me.
