I think, after this winter, it will be time for me to hang up my Damn Yankee Card.. Dammit, I've been freezing my frickin assets off.. No more walking around in a tshirt in 30-40 degree weather for me anymore. It's about 66 degrees in my room and my hands are frickin freezing. I had to turn the frickin heat on.. On top of that, my Nu Yawk accent has about disappeared, only rearing its head when I'm really pissed off, or really excited about something, or frickin drunk. DAMMIT, I SHOULD NOT BE ABLE TO PRONOUNCE MY AH's AND R's!! *sobs* I can actually say 'quarter' and 'water' at rare times, and not have people down here look at me and go, "wait, say that again?" (*mutters* fuckers), and molasses no longer seems to run through my veins. I know this because I checked.. How could this have happened!! I've been speaking like a native for longer than I will ever dare to admit. It's taken only 7 years, but still.. Nnnnnnoooooooooooo!!!!

And if you tell anyone about this, I will deny it fiercely and thoroughly.

*cough*

It seems the date for the 4th party has been decided. Everyone, mark your calendars. The Party shall (barring anything that goes on between now and then) take place Saturday, June 28th. Now just hope that nothing jinxes that.. As always, since July 4th doesn't fall on that Saturday, there shall be no booms. And I'm putting this out there now: Those of you darlings with seafood/shellfish allergies who have not been to this party before, I apologize profusely, and will try to accomodate, with extra dishes that aren't containing said allergens, but the crab legs/catfish/shrimp/whatever/etc. will be flying something thick as usual. Turkeys, as always, will be in attendance, along with whatever dishes, sides, etc. that other darlings bring... Oh, and, um.. vegan darlings.. I don't know what to tell ya'll, other than if there's room on the stoves, and I (and various of my kitchen minions) ain't already doing 30 things at once.. I'll see what I can do.

Kitchen Minions can sign up here *grin*.

Got stuffs to chat about other than this, but my tummy is not liking me today. I actually had a fever that lasted for quite a bit a couple days ago.. Meh.

As for that job thing. Well.. It seems that the head honcho for that department decided to hire a friend of his. *shrug* Say la vee. They still have my resume, but ya know. Still looking anyway and thankful I have the part time fun at The Office.. Heh.. Six Flags is gonna be having a job fair online only tomorrow.

I need to clean my kitchen and get some beans soaking to make my soup with. I have a pack of bacon thawed out..

I really need to get out more and find an exercise buddy. The Mom bought a Total Gym, which she and I are fangirling over. But have yet to actually use. We will. Don't worry.

Been tapped for jury duty coming up soon. Meh.

Heath Ledger.. Well, that sucked.

Shall have a few more Pieces of Me to share tonight after said clean kitchen *nods*. I'm feeling chatty again.

Man, I really need to redo my lj profile thingy.. Maybe I'll redo my whole layout on here as well. But I wanna keep it green. *mumblegrumble* Hrmm..

My Sims 2 is acting up again. Bah. Need to reinstall it probably. Gah, there's so much in me and my life and my surroundings I need to reasses, clean out and reorganize. Hrmm, a LifeDump. Maybe this will be my year to do so. I'm just.. Not content these days. And I haven't been for a long, long time. Meh.

My ankle is still twinging me. Meh.

Maybe I'll finally fuckin' finish FFXII (I can actually finish it right now if I want to, but I wanna finish all the hunts and rares and stuff before taking on the final boss and stuff. I roll with FF like dat) so I can go back and finally finish KHII (don't ask. I dropped it to do FFXII) so I can finally start on the 10 other games I need to start on (like Silver Star Story: TTEOT and God of War and.. and..). I've been so lax this past year and stuff when it came to so many games and.. life..

Need more Anime.. And since I can't buy anymore for the time being.. *pokepokes Comcast*

I really.. really need to do something about my hair. Need to get it healthy again.. Can't take it anymore.

Okie, tummy fussing at me. Gonna make some peppermint/chamomile tea.. Bah.. Restless with a tummy-ache. Not fun.

Got an Ivy snuggling up next to me and purring. Life is good. Need to take more pics of her. Soon. When I get up to make my tea.

Need music.. What would I like?

Tell me what's going on =)..?

I'm still a damned southerner, myself. I'm freezing my butt off here in Maryland. :)

Plus, nobody can understand a word I say up 'round here, neither.

When I lived in Sioux Falls, South Dakota an eon or so ago they all thought I was from Texas. "No, I'm from Georgia." "Are you sure? Because you sure sound like you're from Texas."

Party on the 28? Yay! Ok, don't think I will be in your neck of the woods, but can I ask a favor? If you guys are still going strong at midnight that night - raise your glass and toast me. The 29th is my birthday !!!

>Damn Yankee Card....
I know the feeling. I've been in San Antonio long enough now that, when I visit the Motherland (Chicago), I can't believe how much colder it seems.
