Whew!
Oy.. What a day...
What a week!
Yeowch! *whimper* I just popped my elbow and bit my tongue at the same time..
*snifflepout*
So much has happened this week.. After heading up to the school to finish getting my financial aid and stuff in order for Monday (and filling various people there in on what happened to a certain someone..) I finally got to see The Last Samurai.. And that movie just so reinforced a few things for me.. one thing being I've never really liked 'American' clothing to begin with.. Goodness I loved that movie.. And I finally understood what one guy walking past me mumbled something to his friend about the movie having what he termed "The Japanese Legolas".. Boyfriend was pretty damn sweet with a bow.. and cute as all get out too.. Worked for me! I just about died at the part where they cut his hair.. Okay so there were other parts in the movie I was all in tears over, but I felt that part.. And damned if the sexiest part of the movie involved getting dressed as opposed to getting undressed.. Now THAT was a love scene.. Before the movie though, I took Mom to Starbucks.. I wish I had known it was her first time there, I'd have made the experience much more enjoyable for her.. She wasn't too sure what she had wanted and decided to just have a grande mocha. I had one of my faves.. a grande white chocolate mocha (I really wanted a venti but we were gonna be going to the movie afterward).. We sat outside the lil cafe (it's within the mall right across from the movie theatre) and as she wanted to try some of mine and she couldn't have all of her mocha (she isn't allowed to have too much chocolate/coffee/caffiene/as she puts it "the really good stuff), we sat there and would trade back and forth on the mochas until she didn't want anymore, and I had to finish both of them off myself ~ Oy..
Now.. Mommy herself is the cutest lil' thing when she's humored by something..
Mommy buzzed up on Starbuck's mochas and humored.... is something else
I literally had to chase her through the mall.. She's into her walking thing.. Which is great.. She's lost some weight and her health has really gotten better.. But.. Mommy walking on a caffiene rush.. Is quite fast..
She had wanted to go walking through the mall (at what became a very brisk pace mind you) to go window shopping and stuff before the movie.. And she's giggling at herself.. me.. anything she found amusing in my rush to keep up with her.. We went and bought a few more puzzles for us (me) to work on at the apartment and then went to see the movie..
And learned that it's not always best to drink the equivalent of a venti and a half of mocha right before said movie.. Gawd those last few minutes were torture... But I refused to get up and make the mad dash to the exit before the movie was over.. Thank goodness we hadn't gone to see RoTK.. Anyway on the way out of the movie, Mom and I had this long discussion about Honor and the path of the sword vs. the path of the gun.. Damned if I remember any of it right now as tired as my butt is.. As for her.. she'll take the path that leads AWAY from those big guns, thank you very much *giggle*..
And I'm just so much more determined to learn Japanese *pitiful sigh*
Friday was contentment..
Saturday though, I woke up feeling all sorts of icky with such a headache.. And I was all listless for a bit as well..
I'd had these weird dreams on and off that were more like short movie clips/slideshows and I kept waking up and falling back to sleep.. It was like my brain was doing some sensory overload dump before I could fall into a deeper sleep.. In the first set of dreams I was fighting and in another set I was dancing (buh??).. Nonsensical somesuch..
Ah well.. I would continue.. Especially about a certain phone call I'd gotten not too long ago.. But I have to get my butt to sleep.. I guess I'll have to do 'part 2' of this most interesting past week tomorrow during class.. IF Steve doesn't take us off the backbone like he did RIGHT after I hit the 'post' button on Thursday's post!
But why do I all of a sudden have this.. urge.. to play FF8 for the 200th time..?
Ah well..
*grin*

You have but to say the word =).

oh.. and showers are quite.. spiffy You know.. *mischievious grin* i'm quite useful in that area.. You know.. washing backs.. erm.. *cough* stuff like that.. *purr*
i really miss chatting with You.. =( darn real life making me too busy nowadays.. i see when You pop on and off sometimes, but i'm either just leaving or just come back and too tired to do more than just smile at Your name and wave at the computer *giggle*.. or in the middle of one of the too many things that seem to need being done around here..
that real life really needs a harsh speaking to..
one day i'm just gonna tell real life to go bugger off for a moment so i can potter over and curl up at Your feet to purr for a little bit..
