Guess what I got..?
The Mom(my) got me a pressie..

She needed a ride to the mall to get a few things for when The Queen Aunt Dollie comes for her visit..

And she wanted to stop at Fry's to pick up a couple movies for her and Dollie to watch.. And she told me to grab something.. So I grabbed Banner of the Stars, right? (must interject here with the big squee I let off and just about humongous hug and kiss I planted on the cheek of the manager who had sadly pointed out they'd sold their last copy of Planet Earth [had wanted The Mom to add it to her collection] earlier but then found a copy someone had put behind another movie so he hunted me down and handed it to me) And then.. and then Mommy went looking around for some other movies and stuff while I drooled a little more in the anime section until she was done.. and then she went to pay for everything, right? So on the way out she handed me one of the bags that I thought just held my anime in it, but it was a bit heavier.. and then.. and then she told me to open it, cause she'd found another movie or two she'd thought I'd like, right? And.. and so I look in, and girly-squee'd right in the middle of the entryway of Fry's, cause guess what else was in the bag?!

*points at Firefly the Complete Series and Gladiator the Extended Edition and Clash of the Titans (that The Mom is borrowing for a time)*
Hee! She must have remembered how upset I was that I'd lost the movie disk of the copy of Gladiator I'd gotten way back when I worked for Blockbuster. Just never had opportunity to buy a new copy. Andshegotmetheextendededitionomgomgomg*flails arms and froths at the mouth*..
