Quick question (or 2)..

zorathenneConcerning the party on Sept 15.
Out of curiousity, I'm enquiring about headcount, as well as wondering if I should start using Evite to send out the party announcement, instead of just relying on darlings reading my LJ/partyatvernards for their party info needs.
I do understand there are a few weddings occurring on that date, but I'm unable to reschedule the party, as my baby sister has already gotten her plane tickets and it's pretty much in concrete that she will be here for that weekend to party.
And not only will she be here on that weekend, but so will various other members of my family. So it seems that the 15th is a done deal. I will understand if attendance will be below normal *grin*.
Also, there's another party or two floating around during that month, and I have no intentions of nicking their dates.
The Mom and I put our heads together (and our bank accounts [though mine is.. quite lacking in availability of significant fundage]), and we're planning on in the neighborhood of 50lbs of catfish (though I'm thinking The Mom will see reason, and bring that number down a bit.. you darlings do realize that I'm the one who's gonna be frying them all up.. *grin*), and a few pounds of shrimp. This will pretty much mean that even though we're hoping to have bbq going on along with the fish, we may have to either forgo that, or open the grill (like last time for the crab boil) to those who wish to bring whatever their little hearts desire to burn *calls dibs on D-burgers*.
I'll make the 'Official' invite post sometime in the very near future..
