kaetestrophii, you are plain and simply awesome =).. And of course, so are you firewalker138 *giggle*.. And you know I still wuv you oraqle *huggle* hehe.. I just so wish you could have been with us, but we knew how much work you had. But I get to see you tonight and give you huggles and climb back up the Matterhorn Mattress and have fun and stuff! I'm never taking off this necklace you gave me booness.. even though Kaetboo and Briboo kept saying it wasn't "ohm"; that it was saying 30 *giggle* (bah!). And I huggle my teddybear every chance I get, though I wish it were my Rubear *hugglecuddles ranger_lahru*.. Hee.. I'm *such* a sucker for teddybears..
Anyway.. I woke up early that morning *giggles atkaetestrophii*.. And did the what Kaetboo and I should name "Make~up Shuffle". Had to go pick up Kaet at the train station, so decided to put my make~up on in the car (while *parked* thank you..) in the station parking lot. Well Kaet made it in on the 11ish and I still hadn't put it on because I happened to have left it back at the house.. Ah well, Kaet hadn't put hers on either, so I drive back to the house and she goes in to meet my mom and aunts while I ran upstairs to get my make~up. So Kaetboo and I decide that we'll put our make~up on while at the lil coffee place after having a small bite to eat (and *coffee* of course). So.. *giggle*.. We're there chilling and talking (Kaetboo bought me The~Muffin~That~Had~No~Name~But~Tasted~Damn~Good~Anyway and a Hazelnut Cappucino *yummmmm*), when Briboo calls on the cell about 12:30ish.. Talk about surprise! Bri wasn't supposed to even be meeting us at my aunt's house til almost 7 that evening, but I guess he was done all nice and early *giggle*. So we scramble out of the coffeeshop while passing Briboo between us and make it back to the house and pass him off to Mom to chat with (Kaetboo took a pic teehee). Mom was all happy cause it meant she could give Briboo her ticket to see Return of the King if he met us at the theatre on time (movie was at 2:45 so he had enough time to *just* make it to us). So Kaetboo and I talk him through how to meet us there and we all pile into the car to get to the movie. Kaetboo and I decide we're gonna do our make~up *after* the movie so it will be all fresh and stuff when we get to Zanzibar Blue. We make it there and get the tickets and Bri finds us a bit after and Mom escapes to her car after hugging us to bits and heads back to the house..
Well.. the movie would have been sweet as hell.. EQ jokes and tortured bladders and *all* (and of course the three of us sat in the front row so we could be IN the movie).. IF it weren't for the fact that RIGHT during the most CLIMATIC part of the WHOLE movie... the screen goes black.. and then while the sound for the movie was STILL going on.. they start running those little picture adverts and everything.. for at LEAST 10 or so minutes.. Oh.. It gets better.. People of course are having fits and the kids behind us covered their ears so they wouldn't hear what they couldn't see in case the theatre decided to stop the movie and set it back to that part and let it play on.. Which they *didn't* do.. People start throwing popcorn and stuff at the screen.. Then all of a sudden someone throws a gummi~worm at the screen and it gets stuck there. That just ruined all sense of seriousness ever in the rest of the movie. Because the movie did come back on (after the 10 or so minute "black~out") and the gummi~worm is.. just.. *stuck* there on the screen and each and everytime a character's face was near the worm I would want to yell, "Just reach out your damn tongue already and slurp the damn thing in!" Gawd, that just.. ruined it for me.. Small comfort was the fact that I had read the books like a million times so for the part of the movie I couldn't see I could just fill in the blanks and give Kaetboo and Briboo in 2~4 words what happened hehe.. Well, when the movie was over Kaetboo goes to fuss at management while Briboo and I go to the little cleric's and mage's rooms. Found out that we couldn't get a refund because the tickets were bought on my mom's cc and since the card wasn't with us and I couldn't reach Mom on the phone (she and Bernice had stepped out), I couldn't get the number for them to do the refund *bah*. All they said they could do was give us passes from their theatre to see another movie. Which would have been okay if we *lived* in Pennsylvania.. So we got Corporate's number for me to call the next day or at least tomorrow (cause my head don't wanna talk to no one except a select few *today*)..
Anyway we head out to Zanzibar Blue and even with rush hour and the traffic jam and us going on about EQstuffs and Ogboo singing Happy Birthday to me *still all bouncy from that* and them listening to me ranting about roommates and panties we make it to the place an hour early hehee. By this time I'm sure you could guess that Kaetboo and I had just given up on the make~up.. *giggle*. We get there and got to see the City~Rhythm Orchestra play and ate some damn good food and Kaetboo and I had Briboo tripping.. And wouldn't you know it..? Kaetboo got me to swallow.. And it was actually pretty damn good..
Beer, you perverts! Beer! Kaetboo got me to swallow beer! As much as I detest the stuff, Kaetboo got me to try some raspberry tasting beer that I actually *liked*.. (um.. what's it called again Kaetboo?). I showed Kaetboo the Cosmic Tarot deck I got fromoraqle along with the sweet necklace.. and we showed Briboo the 'playing cards' Kaetboo gave me and my card.. and Briboo pointed out for me the 2 fine as hell chocolate bartenders at the other end of the restaurant.. and the waitress (she was cute =)) brought out my slice of sweet potato cheesecake with a birthday candle on it and sang happy birthday with Kaetboo and Briboo.. and Kaetboo got C~R to play Happy Birthday for me.. and I'm *still* full from the damn good food.. Oh we had fun..
I had such an awesome birthday..
And now I gotta get going cause I need to get ready to go seeoraqle and his family and have fun!
