Yay! I forgot I can at least make my 'last' post before the weekend today =)
So you guys get me for one more morning. Then I say bye~bye of a sort until Sunday or so..
Let me just start out with a big, loud, girly, excited *squeal* for![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
oraqle! He's finally taken that big step in his life (well.. one of the big steps). Not only has he moved out of his home back in Swarthmore PA, he's moved to a completely new state! He has been here in Georgia before, but not in any permanent sense. I love this man dearly (had a crush on him when we met back in college) and he is such a beautiful person (he'll probably roll his eyes if he reads this but dammit! IT'S THE TRUTH! So, he has to deal with it *nyah*. He is one in my tiny circle of best friends, and I'm so elated he and I are finally no longer 16 hours away from each other.. I made damn sure I was at the airport Sunday to pick him up. The plan was to meet at the baggage claim area, but I just couldn't. I had to be there at the main area waiting for him when he got off the escalator. I think we hugged (okay clung) for like 10 minutes before we could even make it a step further...
We did much running around and stuff Sunday and Monday, and he helped me cook his first homecooked meal (he's a damn good blender!) in the apartment his job has him set up in until he finds his own place. I baked 3 sweet potato pies for him and his dad, who came down with his godfather (I think he said Pete was his godfather). They drove oraqle's car down with the stuff he would need for the apartment (it was fully furnished, though the kitchen needed quite a few things), and they were taking a rental car back home. Everything else of his is in storage until he moves. *bounce* I'm so proud of him.. You guys are welcome to go over to his lj and wish him all the best and good luck as well. He doesn't post much, but he'll definitely get whatever notes you send his way. Friend him as well if you want =). He's definitely going to be missing his parents and brothers and everyone back home, and he has a bit of anxiety... So, do me a favor (because you all love me like that) and please just potter over to his lj and say hi.. I would have been with him on Wednesday, but Mom and I have more house matters to deal with. Mainly last bits and pieces of mortgage issues and the like, so I won't see him again until Friday when we go tovernard's party.. Sunday night was hilarious. He and I shared his bed in the master room (that bed is huge!), while his dad and Pete slept in the two beds in the guest room. It was like it was back in college. Pillow fights and gigglefits and all. And we also found out how thin the walls in that place are. No, you perverty bootiful ones *pounce*.. Not us! We got to hear some man above us vocalize exactly how good it felt for him that night... All I knew was that I was just typing away to vernard on instant messenger and then all of a sudden: "uh.. uh.. uh uh UHH UHH UUNNHHH!!" oraqle and I were bout ready to go up there and like cheer him on and stuff..
*happy sigh* I'm so glad he's down here.. And now he gets the chance to meet Trayvis! *bounce* Not yet sure they would make the perfect couple, but I know they'll at least be kewlies *wiggle*..
Well, like I said.. the rest of this week is going to be more than a little bit busy.. I have a midterm on Thursday, Wednesday I have to run Mom around and stuff for the house.. Today I have to remember to pick up some papers from the realtor on the way home from class.. Guys.. Please don't let me forget.. I prolly won't, and I'm sure I'll write it down, but oy. I know how my brain gets... And then Thursday night I have some prepping to do for the stuffed mushrooms and stuff for vernard's party.vernard, if ya want me to make anything else, ya gotta let me know by Thursday so I can get my prep on for it!
Hrmm.. Anything else I need to put down here before class fully gets into swing? *ponder* I'm sure there are a few other things I'd like to type on and on about, but nothing is yet coming to mind. Ah well.. I doubt I'll have the chance to post anymore today..
OH! Yes.. I remember one thing I wanted to say.. *ahem*
Bootiful ones.. Thanks so very much for the musical suggestions.. I actually ended up getting turned onto a few groups that not only I really never heard of, but I prolly wouldn't have gone out of my way to listen to them. I have yet to actually hear a song from you guys that I would listen to and go: "There's no way in hell I'm playing that!" *grin*.. Not that I want you guys to start sending me tunes like that (cause I don't *giggle*), but you all know what I mean.. I start burning the cd's on April 3rd.. That weekend will be the music weekend. I have a way I'm going to set up the songs (grouping them by friend though I still might jumble them up). So if you wanna toss a few more songs my way go for it.. As long as they are songs that are your favorite or you feel connect to you in some way.. Those are the ones I want.. No baby daddy/momma songs or songs only played when the removal of clothing is required *grin*.. I got those songs handled *muwaha!*. I'll prolly play them during the days I move stuff into the house and then during the big move. So you guys will be with me from April to August *grin~huggle*.. So, if anymore song suggestions are gonna come my way (especially to the new friends I've made!) continue to reply to what I'll now deem the song post! If you're already posted songs on there and you want to suggest more songs, just reply on the thread you started with the first suggestion (just wanna keep everything organized). =)
