Okay.. okay.. I'm awake..
I think..
Anything before 12noon is too early in the morning for my taste.. I don't even know how I made it up this morning and to class..
And I really don't need to BE here..
Thanks to my wonderful teacher switching around his classes (long story), I'm now sitting in a class I have already taken and passed.. I was given the choice to either sit out this half of the session or to audit this class and the next one mainly to refresh my memory until everyone has caught up to where I 'am' and we all go into switches and routers together. This class somewhat required partners and I stayed so that the class wouldn't end up odd. But the partner I have hasn't shown back up in class since Monday.. I don't really need to be here.. *grumble*
Normally Mom would be all "Yes! Go! Take advantage of the situation! You're not paying for those classes right? (which I'm not but still)", but even she was like, "well, hey.. whatever curls your toes.." Which is why when I overslept on Friday.. when she came in to see if I was okay as I wasn't making much noise getting ready for class, she knew it wasn't THAT important (for once) if I didn't show up to class.. It was storming pretty bad out there and she wasn't too keen on me doing the commute from Douglasville to Alpharetta in all that mess so early in the morning.
For now, mommies are quite useful when they come visit.. They have the potential to become secondary alarm clocks..
But anyway.. for now I only have classes Mon/Tues/Thurs/Fri.. I simply flat out REFUSE to take IT Project Management again. Got a B+ in it.. That was good enough for me.. So for the next... what.. 10 weeks(?) I have Wednesdays off. Nice little break in the middle of the session for me =)..
Hmm.. got to see The Butterfly Effect yesterday with Mom in a theatre that was too damn loud.. Let's not get into the hellish headache that decided to use the inside of my brain as it's personal mosh pit after the movie.. I thought the movie was pretty decent though.. Oh! And got the chance to chat with a really sweet guy *huggles
vernard* Hihi hon.. I really hope you are feeling better.. Yes.. Colds really DO suck.. *comfort*
Ah yes.. the other little phone conversation I had later on that night.. Sally* (from "The Virgil Saga") called.. She has sent me the book, my ring, and so that I can have a much needed laugh, copies of the letters Virgil had been writing her from jail (We think he's still in there.. and when it comes down to it.. he's MUCH safer there).. The school's laptop is still with her and she'll be calling them to see what arrangements can be made to send it straight to them. Otherwise we'll go with Plan A and she will send it to me to take to the school. To everyone who has made the 'suggestion(s)' to keep the laptop and/or otherwise not return it to the school so that they will continue pressing legal actions against him (because it would 'serve him right).. The thought HAS crossed my mind many.. many.. MANY times.. But *sigh*.. It's not my laptop to do with as I please.. And when it is all said and done.. I want absolutely nothing to do with him. Nothing to 'connect' me to him. I'm already 'pushing it' with keeping the networking book she is sending back to me. But hell.. He's not gonna do anything with it. I know I can put it to better use.. Either me or my friends..
And before you guys pipe up saying the laptop is the same thing... Lemme stress that no... It isn't. The book doesn't need to be returned to the school. There's no type of 'hold' on it. I KNOW I'm in the wrong keeping the laptop.. And I don't want that type of karmic 'debt' on my conscious like that. And you guys know I love you all but please.. no more 'offers' to buy it off me.. It's the same thing *grin*..
Ah well.. maybe I'll go wander around in cyberspace for a bit.. But I'm just ready to take my tired butt right back on home to bed.. Thank goodness only 2 hours to go!

Sweet? there goes my Thug Bear image. Does sugar and leather go together at all?
